I dp property preservation for a living and cleaning the overgrowth from the exterior is so time consuming using cheaper lesser quality tools. Or the wrong tool like loppers for over grown grasses. I remember my grandfather schrade pocket knife he carry it everyday. He used it all the time from cutting bread to peeling mangos for to eat has a child. I’d like the Shrade Axe for my son and I to use when we go hunting and camping. We have been looking for quite a while for a smaller, high quality axe to take along with us.

I love my machetes. The bolo machete looks pretty awesome and would more than likely out perform my cheaper cold steel kukri and SOG sogfari machete. Could really use another big knife for the collection

Schrade Fixed Blade (SCHF14), looks like the best all around knife.
I’m a hunter and having a reliable knife to help with the daily work in camp is what I look for in the Schrade. I have the schf14 and I carry that on my backpack to take with me where ever I go in the field. Having a good dependable knife is a must for me.
Seen as I haven’t had a schrade knife before and I dont know what one to chose. I think I would prefer the Schrade Extreme Survival Knife (SCHF9) because I love to fish so I am outdoors alot, but I will take whatever one is given to me.

I am a collector and take pride in my small collection. I would greatly like to have the SCHF14 because of it’s great looks, and it looks like it is completely solid and ready to take care of business. Granted the SCHF9 is a smooth and classic weapon, and it is clearly a beautifully made and loved piece of shaped and sharpened steel. The SCHFBOLO would also be a grand addition to my meager collection, and would also be well used in any way I can find for this wonderful blade.

Hi!! Have become a big fan of Schrade and this all started because I own two Smith & Wesson folders and eventually made my way to Taylor Brands website!! I have never owned a survival knife let alone a fixed blade and would love either the SCHF14 or the SCHF9. The choice for me (albeit a difficult one with all the stellar blades) is the SCHF14. This is one serious EDC knife with looks to match function! Always keeping an eye out for quality knives and Schrade is definitely on the short list.

I have ordered a lot of things from knife depot and was very impressed with the excellent quality of the product and the website is fantastic. I personally love to collect knives and added a bunch to my collection from Knife Depot and would love to add the schrade axe (SCAXE2) to my collection. 1.) It is bad ass and 2.) Schrade has to be my favorite and most trustworthy brand other than Smith & Wesson. Schrade Fixed Blade (SCHF14)
Having to work in timber properties in both Louisiana and Michigan, the (SCHBOLO) bolo machete would be a great addition to my brush axe. This appears to be well thought out and designed. A decent blade length that won’t get tangled in thick vines and limbs. Not too short to risk briars, thistle, and locus thorns tearing up hands and forearms.. A nice angle between the blade and handle giving maximun leverage & eliminating excessive wrist snap through the swing. Just a very nice looking machete!
