That side to side is controlled by how much you tighten the screw you use to disassemble the knife. Grab a torx screw driver and tighten it enough to remove the play but not so much that it stops or slows the blade from closing. Real easy to do but I have found some cheaper knife’s screws strip instantly so I guess those are nonadjustable.
