Badass Knife of the Week: Victorinox SwissChamp

Badass SwissChamp

An old aphorism proclaims that a jack of all trades ends up being a master of none. This week’s Badass Knife of the Week begs to differ.

With 33 different tools and features, the Victorinox SwissChamp is essentially a complete toolbox that easily fits into your pocket, proving that a jack of all trades can be a master of everything.

Since the SwissChamp entered the scene in 1985 (replacing the Champion as the top model), it’s been called the flagship model of Victorinox because of the fact that it has nearly every tool while retaining a size that’s easy to carry.

SwissChampThe SwissChamp is a 91mm model with a reasonable width of 33mm. This particular version of the pocket knife features the instantly recognizable red cellidor scales, but you can also get the SwissChamp in Ruby, Hardwood, Black, or Sapphire.

The 33 different tools include pretty much anything you could need to accomplish a task you’d encounter in day-to-day life. A partial list of tools include blades, screwdrivers, scissors, pliers, a pen, a corkscrew, tweezers, a wood saw, a ruler, a magnifying glass, a toothpick, a nailfile with metal saw, a sewing eye, a can opener, and much more.

A majority of the implements are made with durable stainless steel, and the familiar stamp of Victorinox means you know exactly the type of quality to expect. To top it off, it comes with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

No other tool out there can stand up to the quintessential Swiss Army knife: the Victorinox SwissChamp.

  1. I love pretty much any Victorinox knives, they are suck great tools. I’ve had one of mine for a decade and a half and it still looks brand new!

  2. I simply couldn’t go away your site before suggesting that I extremely enjoyed the usual information an individual provide on your visitors? Is gonna be back incessantly to investigate cross-check new posts.

  3. Most pictures make it look ridiculously cumbersome. In fact the hilt is smaller then a baseball and controls the blades very easily.
