We’re happy to announce the arrival of new 2016 knives from Schrade and Old Timer. Currently, Knife Depot is the only place you can get these specific models outside Schrade.
Check them out.
Schrade SCHF45 Leroy Full Tang Bowie
The first knife we have available is a doozy. The SCHF45 is a massive Bowie-style chopper that’s nearly 16.5 inches long with a hefty 10.35-inch blade. A video testing the prototype shows just what this beast can do.
Schrade SCHA9M Mini Landshark
Next up is the Mini Landshark. The larger iteration of the Landshark proved popular, and this mini version makes it a viable EDC option that’s legal to carry in most places. The knife itself has killer angles and an eye-catching design. The blade is 2.16 inches and uses the M.A.G.I.C. assisted opener.
We currently have four versions of the Mini Landshark, including two with a gray aluminum handle and two with a ColorShift handle. Each has a serrated or straight-edge version.

Schrade SCHF31S Fixed Blade
We have another solid knife in the SCHF31S. This serrated fixed blade is a great budget knife that’s capable of tough outdoor tasks. It’s something you wouldn’t mind beating up and has comfortable TPE handle slabs with some extra features.
Schrade SCMACH1CP 18″ Machete
There also two machetes. The first is the SCMACH1 in a clam pack. This is a curvy 18-inch machete with a piercing point and handle made of TPR material.
Schrade SCMACH2CP 22″ Machete
The second machete on the docket is SCMACH2 in a clam pack. This is a more standard machete with a killer sawback on the 22-inch blade. Both of these machetes have pommels and lanyard holes to prevent the machete from slipping out of the hand.
Old Timer Capybara Fixed Blade
Old Timer is owned by the same company as Schrade, so we’re including this knife with the rest. This new knife has the signature look and feel of an Old Timer, complete with nickel silver bolsters and a handsome wood handle made of rosewood and ebony wood. The blade is 4 inches, and the knife comes with a leather sheath.
Schrade SCHA11 Folding Knife
Finally, we have an assortment of SCHA11 knives. These are assisted openers that utilize the M.A.G.I.C. opening mechanism and a liner lock with safety lock. Two iterations come with a black skeletonized aluminum handle and two come with a champagne skeletonized aluminum handle. You can get either of the 4.26-inch black blades with serrations or without.
