Challenge Bear Grylls and win 10K

Bear Grylls Eating a Fish

Whether you find his feats of wilderness survival awe-inspiring or his heavily-accented narration downright irritating, Bear Gyrlls is undoubtedly a survivalist star.

Back in April, we ran a contest in which our readers were asked to give Bear a hand in a sticky situation (he was stuck on a rock in the Amazon River) in order to win a Bear Grylls signature Gerber multi-tool.

Now, the folks over at Solo (it’s a lemon soda, in case you didn’t know) are holding a contest in which you can face off with Bear for a chance to win 10k.

The contest rules are pretty simple.  All you have to do is find something you can do better than Bear and challenge him on the Solo website. Users will vote on the best challenges and a handful of winners will eventually be chosen to face off with Bear in Sydney, Australia.

The man above (Tom) is a gymnastics instructor who will be going one on one with Bear in a gnarly handstand competition.

The contest is only open to Australian residents, but there’s 10k on the line, so if you’re thinking about expatriating, this is probably the time.

  3. Dear Marketing Director,
My name is Lisa Pierce. I am a founding member of the Texas Crossbow Hunters Club, a not-for-profit hunting club, and I have been elected the donations coordinator for this year. The club will be having their annual hunt, meeting and awards banquet in April 2021 at our hunting lease site just outside of Leakey, Texas. The TCHC was formed in 2009 and is made up of dedicated bow hunters from all over the United States (as well as from other countries), many of whom are pro-staff for various companies which produce hunting products. We are passionate about and dedicated to training young hunters for the future and are being successful in this endeavor!
The club sponsors several hunts at the Leakey Lease at various times throughout the year, allowing many members to attend multiple events. Also, each year the members participate in a hunting contest which runs from September 1st through the end of February. Awards are given in eight hunting categories for adults and in the same eight hunting categories for youth. Each year we award trophies, plaques and prizes to the hunters who win in each of the contest categories. In addition, each person who attends the annual meeting is able to choose a prize or prizes from our prize table, thus encouraging attendance and future contest participation. These items are gathered from different great companies such as yours interested in putting their products before the hunting membership, which provides great word-of-mouth advertising. Your company has been chosen because of the impressive quality of your products as reviewed by our membership. We would greatly appreciate any and all products or other donations you would like to give to our club and are grateful for the generosity that we’ve been shown by so many in past years. If you choose to donate items for the prize table at the TCHC annual meeting and need a donations receipt for tax purposes, we will be happy to provide same. We greatly appreciate any and all donations of your products to our club, and ask that they be sent to the Texas Crossbow Hunters Club at the following address prior to March 1, 2021. My husband and I will personally be transporting all donations received to the meeting in Texas.
