When all else has failed and everything has hit the fan, the latest Badass Knife of the Week is all you need. The Benchmade 175BK Adamas Fixed CBK is the perfect last-ditch weapon when things get dicey.
The Adamas Fixed CBK, which stands for Concealed Backup Knife, is designed to be the ultimate defensive push dagger. As part of the Adamas Series at Benchmade, which includes knives made by Shane Sibert to honor the courage and commitment of the military, the dagger was made with input from members of law enforcement. It shows too.
With its 440C stainless steel double-edge spearpoint blade, the 175BK is exceptionally well-balanced and coated in Benchmade’s BK1 matte black finish that offers extra corrosion and scratch resistance.
The chisel ground blade is beveled on one side and flat on the other, which allows for optimal thrusting and piercing, all while holding an edge.
Covered with a rough vinyl coating, the handle of the full-tang knife gives enough grip that it stays in the hand even in wet conditions.
Since a Concealed Backup Knife is only as good as its sheath, the black molded Kydex and thermoplastic sheath is well designed to be carried in a variety of positions.
The sheath features a reversible pocket clip that can fit up to a 2-inch duty belt. With the balanced retention and release, the knife is ready to go the moment you need it.
