Some people say fixed blades don’t make good everyday carry knives. Those people have clearly never seen the CRKT Razel.
The Razel boasts the late great Jon Graham’s innovative blade shape that blends together elements from the chisel and the straight razor to create something strong and utilitarian.
The Razel has a 2.97-inch blade that can cut, scrape, pry, and more. With its D2 steel, you know it’ll be tough as nails. The Razel blade shape has long been one of our most unique blade shapes.
Along with the unique blade shape, the knife has Micarta handle scales that feel great in the hand.
Its gray handle is complemented with red accents that make this knife anything but dull. The butt of the knife also has an exposed tang for hammering and other tasks.
It comes with a sheath that fits directly in the pocket or attached to a belt or boot.
Graham designed this fixed blade to be used in the harsh daily conditions of shop life, which means the CRKT Razel can excel wherever you need.

I don’t think this knife will sell well.

I’ve always loved Jon Graham’s designs, and the CRKT Razel really carries his spirit. The versatility of that blade shape makes it a solid everyday tool, not just another fixed blade.

Hold on a minute, fixed blades AND everyday carry? It sounds weird at first. Utilitarian is definitely the word. That Razel, sounds interesting, all chisel-y and razor-y. Reminds me of the time I tried to cut some cardboard with a butter knife. What a disaster! The edge just kept slipping. I felt like I was playing Slither io, constantly missing my target, sliding all over the place without actually cutting anything. I was a total failure. Guess I should have had a Razel.

Utilitarian genius indeed! This CRKT Razel sounds like the fixed blade to convert even the most ardent folder fan. Talk about a unique edge. This Razel design sounds absolutely perfect for tough jobs. I once struggled to precisely score drywall and wished I had something like this. My project just kept slipping down the Slope, messing up my lines.
