Badass Knife of the Week: KA-BAR ZK War Sword

It’s Z-day. Half of the population is infected with a virus that makes them thirsty for blood and hungry for flesh. The dead walk among the living, and the hordes of zombies are getting closer. If there is only one knife you could have in your hand, make it the latest Badass Knife of the Week.

The KA-BAR Zombie Killer War Sword is the ultimate zombie exterminator. With a nearly 10-inch blade, the ZK War Sword will mow down the undead with impunity.

Before you decry the War Sword as nothing more than a gimmick, the knife is designed with functionality as its highest priority. Just as you would want out of a solid camping knife, the War Sword is meant to stand up to the toughest tasks — whether that’s dismantling zombies or clearing away brush.

The minute you get your hands on the ZK War Sword, you’ll immediately notice that the blade is no joke. The drop point blade is 9 3/4 inches of solid SK5 high carbon steel, which is great for large field knives.

Like all good zombie weapons, the War Sword features toxic green handles for higher visibility. Made of GFN-PA66 scales, the handles have an ergonomic design with nice texture for additional grip.

The best part about the handle is that it comes with an extra set of black scales, so when you’re not using the War Sword to take down a zombie or two, you can give the knife a cohesive tactical look.

If that’s not enough, the knife also comes with a durable nylon sheath with a huge front pocket for additional storage and another slot to put the included Acheron skeleton knife.
