I’ve been looking for a permanent EDC knife for a while, and having gone through KA BAR s, SOGs, and Ontario, I think this one fits the criteria that the others just didn’t.

I love the look of this knife. I haven’t been fortunate enough to own a Kershaw knife, but have wanted to. I don’t have the opportunity to be able to use knives. Since I can’t use my arms, but I’m making a big display with great blades for me to drool at and for anyone who comes over to use–as long as a tell me about it and return it. Ha ha. Kershaw knifes have a great reputation. I don’t have one and need a quality knife.
Having owned a couple kershaw knives, I can definitely say they are good knifes for the price. If you want a good knife for your go bag or edc, grab a kershaw.

Kershaw knives are my “go to” when I need a work knife, or a knife to carry when I wear a suit (the Leek is best) or when I want to brag to my friends about my newest acquisition.
I dont have much in the way of good, quality made knives. I actually used to have a nice automatic tanto tip, but it sadly was stolen. My 6 year old son is just now old enough to begin handling knives… of course not assisted auto knives though. He really loves being outdoors and could probably teach most adults a thing or two about sharks, snakes, or spiders. Winning this knife would give me the opportunity to show him what a real, quality blade should look and act like.

Am very fortunate having Kershaw in my back yard. Even then, cannot recommend a better knife to have along for all situations. Just tie a length of parachute cord to the lanyard hole, and you are ready to go in any situation – just don’t carry it on-board a flight as you will loose it – pack it in your luggage. Had that happen and the reason I ordered this replacement! One is able to open it with one hand and speed safe keeps it closed until needed.
