What do you use your knife for the most?

The great thing about knives is just how versatile and functional they are. A knife can easily attach to your belt with no effort and do nearly any task you run into.

I just moved into a new apartment, so I’ve been using my knife to open boxes, cut cardboard, slice twine and do other various jobs around the house. I can’t imagine what it would be like if I didn’t have my knife.

That’s why we at Knife Depot were wondering what you use your knife for the most that makes it invaluable to you. For example, do you use it for work, at home, hunting, building things or other specific tasks?

Let us know in the comments section. We look forward to reading them.

What’s your favorite knife?

Just like your kids, it’s hard to pick your favorite knife. However, there’s always that one knife you can’t go anywhere or do any job without.

To get this thread started, one of my favorite knives is the Schrade Old Timer because of its classic appearance, big personality and rugged versatility.

So, what’s your favorite knife?

5. Raiders of the Lost ArkIndiana Jones Vs. Sword Guy

Along with the Monty Python scene, this battle ranks up there with the funniest. The cleverness of this sword fight (or lack thereof) gave Indiana Jones the rugged laziness that made his character huge. Legend has it that Indy was supposed to engage in a long battle with his whip while the swordsman slashed and fought. Nevertheless, I think this version was the funnier choice.

4. Rob Roy Robert Roy MacGregor Vs. Archibald Cunningham

Rob Roy is a 1995 historical film about a Scottish man named Robert Roy who battled landowners. In this final duel of the movie, the two characters battle to the death in what amounts to be a very cool scene done without the assistance of special effects.

James Franco Wants to Film Real Life Street Fight Between L.A. Gangs for His Next Movie

The actor and filmmaker James Franco has plans to film a real life knife fight between L.A. gangs for his next movie.

The news, which comes burning hot off the press from Star Pulse via the New York Post, doesn’t name the movie, but says it is a collaboration with Harmony Korine, the gritty filmmaker who produced the 1995 movie Kids and the 1997 movie Gummo (a movie about teen cat killers).

Apparently, the duo wants to go under cover and film unsuspecting gang members in the act of stabbing each other, leading some associated with the film to worry about safety.

The production team is panicked that they’ll end up with blood, injuries and potentially dead bodies on set, said an anonymous source.
