Morakniv are one of the best knives in the world, it is your right if you don’t it but I can only say that if you want good quality knife then you must pay a good price. Cheap price means cheap quality though this is not absolute.

To be fair, Morakniv usually offers its models in both steels. While I haven’t heard of the Garberg coming in a carbon steel version, I wouldn’t be surprised.

It’s understood that it’s not built to be a survival knife. I believe the only improvement would be a 3mm spine and a higher scandi grind in the same steel or a super steel similar to cpm-3v and full tang. Then I might be enticed to spend

For survival and bushcraft knives I’ve always been more of a fan of stainless steel for durability and sharpening purposes. But either way I’m still excited for these new knives.
