I have the Kershaw Field and Stream and love it. My all time favorite is the original SOG Tomcat. I have a well used one over 30 years old and still locks as tight as a bank vault. There are smooth areas where the checkering has worn off the neoprene scales but it is still a great working knife. I wish SOG would bring it back.

I can't believe the MK5 is out other than for lack of sales and interest. I have a hard time with such tiny knives, but it's better than packing a razor blade and trying to use that in place of a real knife.

Even my brother, who isn't much for knives (I pushed him to own at least two: The Schrade SCHF-SM2 and a Gerber Evo folder) recently discovered this knife while researching survival kits that fit into candy tins.

Now I might have to try and snag a few of them.

Your review of the Paul knife is terrific. My Brother's name is Paul. I'd like to try and get him one, at a reasonable price, but, se la vie.

The lack of more Paul Knives is a real shame. I am realizing how lucky I am to have one (in my pocket right now actually). It's one of the smoothest knives I've ever owned and I've never had any other folder with as good of a lockup as this one. Given the rarity, I'm becoming more and more hesitant to actually carry it.
