Interestingly enough, part of what made the knife so popular was the smaller blade. But Schrade didn’t forget about those who wanted a larger blade. The Old Timer Deerslayer is basically the same knife with a 5.6-inch blade.

I love the design of the knife although the only thing I don’t like is how small the blade is… however this could be good for skinning or needing to bone or fillet something. Cool knife though 🙂
